Hey, we know her!

Meet Tammy Jo Taft, North Dakota Professional Communicator’s first vice president for membership. Tammy Jo is an assistant professor in the Communication Arts Department at Valley City State University and has been a member of NDPC for nine years.

She is an extrovert and meeting new people is one of her favorite activities and she loves having a chance to connect with other professionals in this field. “Communication is changing so quickly. Having a great network is one aspect of staying current,” she says.

Tammy Jo always learns something of value from the NDPC lunches or the annual conference. She feels it’s been great to see some of the excellent work being done in our region. Having a great group of people to think through ideas with is exciting and she values that aspect of NDPC.

When asked what her favorite season is, she says, “I love that first day in May or June when you can finally smell the grass. The first day without 90+ MPH winds, where the morning is just a beautiful reminder of how peaceful life can be.”

👋 Meet Hannah Kliniske, our Senior Marketing Coordinator!

Hannah recently joined United Way of Cass-Clay after leading content strategy for the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce. She brings experience in strategic communications, integrated marketing, creative storytelling, and campaign development.

At United Way, Hannah is helping tell the stories behind our work, strengthen community engagement, and connect people with opportunities to get involved.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyler, and their family and friends. She's fueled by iced coffee, firmly believes queso belongs at the table, and will never pass up an opportunity to talk about her corgis. Around the office, Hannah is already known for the energy, creativity, and humor she brings to the team.
