You don’t have be a college admissions expert feel confident guiding your child through the admissions process. But you do need the right information.

Many parents navigate college admissions by Googling, asking friends, or hoping the school counselor has it covered. And then they hit a moment — a deadline, a financial aid letter, a college list that doesn’t make sense — and realize they didn’t know what they didn’t know.

The Grove exists so that doesn’t happen to you.

The Grove is an online community with support from other parents in the same chapter of life with you AND expert guidance from a Certified Educational Planner, plus resources and guest speakers.

It’s an unbeatable value.

Comment GROVE27 for the class of 2027 and GROVE28 for the class of 2028.

I’ll see you in The Grove 🌿

It might feel like you’re the only one trying to navigate this college admissions process as a parent and not knowing how to help your kid 🫠

Spoiler alert: You’re not!

But I know it can feel difficult to find a trusted expert you can get guidance from, and also to really KNOW you’re not the only one in this.

For a while, I’ve noticed the parents who don’t want the level of support of 1:1 consulting, but still want honest advice from someone they trust. I’ve also seen the parents in my comments and DMs that are feeling all the feelings about the struggles, sadness, pride, and more that come with parenting through this chapter.

It felt like there wasn’t really anywhere for you to go. So I built something.

The waitlist for my new online community - a Facebook group - specifically for parents navigating the college admissions process is open now.

This community is going to be special. The perfect mix of support and helpful guidance — I know it’s just what you need.

Comment BLOOM and I’ll send you the link to join other parents in finding the advice and support they need in this chapter of life. 🌿

It’s not nagging if you say it casually. I don’t make the rules. 🤷🏼‍♀️😉

Follow if you’re a perfectly chill and relaxed parent of a junior 😅

Swipe for my thoughts on why Yale, Cornell, UNC, Georgia Tech, and more colleges are dropping and reducing their supplemental essays this year.

(& check out slide 8 for my best parenting advice on essays 🤭)

This is just the beginning of what’s shaping up to be a significant shift in the application process.

I hope this helps you understand why we suspect colleges are making this change, what it means for application volume and selectivity, and why I think this makes it harder for students, not easier.

Save this and share it with a rising senior parent navigating this cycle. 🌿
