🎨🌈 Tie-Dye Fun in Ones #2! 🌈🎨

Miss Jessica came up with such a fun way for our littlest artists to get in on the tie-dye fun! Our one-year-olds got to be hands-on and involved in the process while exploring colors, creating, and of course getting a little messy along the way!

We love when our teachers bring their own creative ideas into the classroom and find new ways to make learning fun and hands-on for our kiddos. 🥰

A little shoutout to Miss Jessica for planning this extra special activity for Ones #2 and seeing some of our kiddos proudly rocking their finished shirts today made it even sweeter!

✨ All About ME! ✨

This week’s theme is All About Me & My Family, and today our preschoolers got creative with a pretty BIG project! 🎨

Our kiddos created life-size drawings of themselves, adding all the little details that make them uniquely them! 🥰 We loved watching their creativity come to life and seeing how they see themselves.

Dorothy Mae Kids Academy is looking for a dependable Part-Time Maintenance Technician / Handyman to help keep our center safe, clean, and running smoothly!

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for extra income with an extremely flexible schedule. Evening and weekend work is welcome, making it easy to work around another job or other commitments.

🛠️ What you’ll help with:
General repairs and maintenance, basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry, painting, assembling furniture and equipment, playground upkeep, and other projects around the center.

What we’re looking for: Previous maintenance experience is preferred, basic repair knowledge, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete physical tasks, dependable and able to work independently, and able to pass all required childcare background checks.

This week’s theme is Friendship & Kindness and our Leaves of Mae Preschool class is already putting those lessons into action! 💚

This morning our preschoolers walked around the center spreading kindness to our teachers and friends with sweet words, smiles, and thoughtful gestures. It was such a simple but meaningful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make someone’s day a little brighter.

We are so proud of these amazing kiddos for showing that kindness is something we can share with everyone.

Our 3s classroom had a colorful twist on Water Day today! 💦🌈

Miss Brittany and Miss Brooklynn helped the kiddos create their own “tie-dye” masterpieces using water shooters and colorful paint on white T-shirts. It was the perfect mix of creativity outdoor fun and lots of smiles!

We love finding new ways to make summer learning exciting.

Today was such a special day in our 4 Year Old Leaves Of Mae Preschool classroom. ❤️

Mrs. Brandy and Miss Brooklynn planned a formal farewell lunch to celebrate this wonderful group as several of our friends get ready to begin their kindergarten adventures in the coming weeks. They wanted to create a special memory together before some of their classmates start this exciting new chapter.

Our kiddos came dressed in their favorite fancy outfits and enjoyed a candlelight lunch with their classmates. It was filled with smiles, laughter, and sweet conversations around the table.

This time of year is always bittersweet as we celebrate the growth of all our preschoolers and wish those heading off to kindergarten the very best. We are so proud of each and every one of our little learners and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll accomplish. 💙🎓

✨ Another fun-filled week at Dorothy Mae Kids Academy! ✨

Disney Week has been full of smiles as our friends explore, create, and learn through magical Disney themed activities. From hands on learning to imaginative play, it's been a week full of laughter and fun.

Summer isn't slowing down either. We've been staying cool with Water Days and enjoying special Kona Ice treats, making memories our kiddos won't forget!
