The Linganore High School Alumni Association Inc. Was created at the time of Linganore High School's 30th year.
It's purposes are to provide opportunities for alumni of all ages to gather and enjoy fellowship, assist the school as we can, and (last but not least) provide a scholarship fund that is available to past and current Linganore students. The scholarship fund is held by the Community Foundation of Frederick and will be there long into the future. I (Marty Burdette '87, current LHS Alumni president )

The 2025 LHS Alumni Dinner and Dance is "in the books". Thank you to all those folks that came out and made it a really fun night. WE NEGLECTED TO GIVE CREDIT TO THE CLASS OF 1975 FOR THEIR SUPPORT OF THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND to the tune of $4000.00! Over the years, since our scholarship fund originated, the class of '75 has donated over$20,000.00. No other class has come close. Thank you to Sally and her team!!
Also, thanks to John Roop, for assuming the duty of auctioneer on the spur of the moment. The live auction was well received and brought in some much needed funds for our association and for the scholarship fund.
It was truly wonderful to see some past and current LHS staff/faculty members in attendance. Carroll Shry, Nancy Lewis and Jill Klosterman Ensor seemed to enjoy the evening almost as much as me!
We would love to hear feedback. Especially about the new features such as door prizes and the live auction.
