🎬 Day 3 of Mr. Zal Media Academy was another amazing success!
Today, our students ages 8–12 stayed productive by practicing their teleprompter reading skills and learning how to use green screen technology.
The best part was seeing their creativity and imagination come to life! Some students wanted to appear deep in the jungle, others traveled to outer space, and a few even imagined themselves standing inside a billion-dollar mansion!
It was incredible watching the kids use their imaginations, build confidence on camera, and learn valuable media production skills.
I am so proud of each student for their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to try something new. The future is bright for these young creators!

What an awesome day at the Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington, Illinois where I saw 20 people per team and a total of 20 teams use their strength by pulling a 107,000 pound Boeing 737 airplane to raise money for the Special Olympics. I even had a chance to pull the airplane along with a couple teams such as the Stars and Bars Xtreme Team and that was exciting! Thank you John Peeler and everyone that came out to support this great event! I had an amazing time.

It's good news for people who use public transportation in Champaign-Urbana. C-U was just named as the second best in the nation.

🎬 Day 2 of Mr. Zal Media Academy was a huge success!
Today, we learned how to use a teleprompter, and every student had the opportunity to step in front of the camera and practice reading from it. It was amazing watching the kids build confidence, improve their speaking skills, and have fun while learning!
I’m so proud of each student for stepping outside their comfort zone and giving it their best. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish next!
