Our playground is currently undergoing a MASSIVE renovation.

Our summers are hotter than ever, but that doesn't mean our students want to be outside any less!

This California heat has made it essential for us to invest in a shade structure to help keep our students cool while they play hard. This shade cover will block 97% of the UV and help our play area stay 20 degrees cooler on hot days.

The safety and wellbeing of our students is always a priority, and the shade structure ensures that they can play to their fullest without worrying about overheating, sun burns, and sun sensitivity.

Our slide is undeniably a favorite of our students across classes and age range. This great adoration also means great wear and tear.

This is why we are bringing a brand new slide to the Carden sandbox. We know how important the memories that are made on our playground are.

Thanks to the dedication of our parent-run advancement committee and the generosity of our entire community over the last two years, we were able to raise the funds to make these projects come to life for our students.

Carden is nothing without our community. Make sure to stop by this fall and take a look at these great additions to our campus!

The summer fun is winding down...but not before these kids got a chance to play in the bubble foam pit!

We have only ONE MORE WEEK of our summer program. Next week, join us for a week of "Passport to Fun!"

Ms. Henderson and Ms. O'Mullen will be guiding our campers through different countries and cultures with games, crafts, and tasty food experiences. Each day brings a new destination and lots of fun along the way!

We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz!

These students spent the last two weeks of our Roaring Summer program rehearsing, making costumes, and learning about the story of the Wizard of Oz.

And yesterday, they performed their work for their families and other classes!

Thank you Miss Burke for guiding these students in such a thoughtful performance, and for bringing out their creativity! What a unique experience for our students.
