Former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax has been identified by police as the person who shot and killed his wife, Dr. Cerina W. Fairfax, before turning the gun on himself.

Police responded to the couple's home in Fairfax County shortly after midnight and discovered both dead inside. Police believe Fairfax, 47, shot his wife in the basement before running upstairs to the primary bedroom, where he shot himself. The couple has two children who were home at the time, and one of them called 911.

Cerina had filed for divorce, stating the couple separated on June 1, 2024, while continuing to live under the same roof. She alleged that Fairfax had stopped contributing to key household expenses, including his share of the mortgage, children's private school tuition, and extracurricular costs. She claimed she had become the sole financial provider and primary caregiver for their two children.

Fairfax was recently served paperwork for divorce court proceedings.

💔A New Jersey nurse was k*lled at work by her estranged husband in what authorities are calling a deliberate act of domestic v*olence.

Victoria Alexander, a 38-year-old LPN and mother of two, was arriving for her shift when she was attacked. She later passed away at the scene.

This tragedy is a painful reminder:

North Carolina pastor Tammy McCollum was found shot dead in her home, and police say her husband has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Authorities say he admitted to the shooting during an argument after calling 911.

The couple had been married for 30 years, with Tammy previously describing him as a “man of God.” Her church and family expressed deep grief, asking for prayers and privacy while remembering her faith and devotion.

Based on these internet streets, Tammy McCollum, a pastor at The Well Worship Center in Statesville, North Carolina, was shot and killed in her Charlotte home early Monday morning. The police have arrested her husband, 61-year-old Eddie McCollum, and charged him with first-degree murder. The investigation into the deadly incident is ongoing.

Domestic violence has no limit and doesn’t attack one gender . This information is being shared for community awareness and family support and prayer .

On March 6, 2023, Latoshia Daniels shot and killed Brodes Perry in a fit of jealousy after their relationship ended. Daniels, consumed by anger, traveled from Arkansas to confront Perry in Tennessee, resulting in a deadly confrontation that left Perry dead and his wife seriously injured.

Though Daniels was sentenced to 20 years, the loss for Perry’s family is permanent. His wife and children will never recover from the tragedy, and Daniels' actions leave an irreversible scar.

But the question remains: How many lives will continue to be destroyed by unchecked emotions, and can anything prevent this from happening again?
