This summer, young artists, scientists, and creative technologists came together through STEMarts Lab's SciArt Live Coding Summer Lab to explore new ways of transforming science into art. 🌌💻

Through workshops at UNM Taos HIVE and Santa Fe Community College, participants developed original live coding performances inspired by astronomy, astrophysics, and the creative possibilities of code. Along the way, they strengthened skills in creative technology, collaboration, and science communication while preparing for a shared public performance.

The journey continues on September 26, 2026, when these youth creators will present their SciArt Live Coding performance at the Los Alamos Science Festival, bringing together art, live code, and space science in a real-time audiovisual experience.
