🏆 Zekey Camden All-State 🏆

Zekey will finish his Sophomore State campaign 4th in Class 3, 157lbs. He has shown such growth from last year, committing to working in the off-season and buying into program philosophies. From below a .500 record as a Freshman to 4th in the state. He will look to continue his development and help set the new standard of wrestling for our program.

Update through Saturday
The boys have battled extremely hard and we are so proud of them!!!

Chris Law finished Friday dropping his first round match, but mounting a strong comeback in his wrestleback to earn a pin. He would finish his tournament run 1-2.

Zekey Camden won his first two matches to make the semi's earning a fall in his opening match and a tech 19-1 in his quarterfinal. He fell in the semi, but then won his consolation semifinal by major decision 13-4 and will wrestle for 3rd this afternoon.

Branson Crum also finished as a District Champion

The Mules Wrestling Team finally made their home debut after several weather related cancellations. The team competed against Kennett and recognized our seniors who have invested years of dedication to helping the team. Our Seniors included:
Morgan Magill, Garrett Dearborn, Guy Conner, Greenly Fowler, and special guest and always a Mule, Branson Crum.

Boys varsity defeated Kennett 57-22 while the girls went 1-2 in match count. They also hosted West Plains and North County on Wednesday, winning two very close duals on the boys side with the girls winning 2-0!

Post season will begin today with the girls competing at the District tournament while the boys will get a final tune-up at the Windsor Dual Tournament.

Our home match against Kennett that was cancelled earlier this week has been rescheduled for this Friday, February 6th. Wrestling will begin at 5:30.

This will be the senior night for Mules Wrestlers.

Mules Varsity and JV boys were in action this weekend coming off a long drought of practice due to weather conditions and district closure.

Mules Varsity competed at the Cardinal Ritter Rumble where they finished second out of fourteen teams! All seven wrestlers that attended went home on the podium!

Individual results were as follows:
120 Bryant Stroup- First 🥇
126 Payton Edelman- Second 🥈
144 Chris Law- Third 🥉
150 Ryan Hopkins- Second 🥈
157 Zekey Camden- First 🥇
165 Cohen Morrison- Second 🥈
190 Guy Conner- First 🥇

JV competed at the annual JV SEMO Conference Tournament. Austin Shearin took home a 3rd place finish!

Weather permitting the Mules will compete at home this Monday against Kennett. Come support the Mules on their new date for Senior Night!

Due to the district closing and after school activities being cancelled, we will not be able to have our home meet tonight. Any information about a rescheduled date will be posted as it becomes available.
