Back to school meets blast from the past!

PPSC's Centennial Campus has some new additions! Well, they're actually very, very old! Stop by the Learning Commons now through October to get a good look at these dinos on display!

This week will also include some extra jurassic joy! Tuesday through Thursday, from 12:00pm - 2:00pm, special events will be putting a spotlight on these fossilized friends! Join us for some tasty food, eye-opening presentations, scavenger hunts, and prizes!

Can't make it this week? We'll have some more "bone" -a fide fun September 15th - 17th!

A moment of appreciation for a member of our PPSC social media team as we officially say good bye. Okay… so maybe some of those achievements were a bit… exaggerated. But regardless, Scarlet has contributed so much to PPSC and we are excited for her to start her next chapter. Thank you for all of your hard work, brilliant ideas, and endless creativity. We will miss you!

Got questions? Well, Ask an Aardvark! All week (Aug. 17th - 21st), volunteers will be set up at tables around our four campuses, ready to get you the answers you're looking for! We know it's easy to get turned around on campus! So be sure to "Ask an Aardvark" if you need any help navigating your first week back to school at PPSC!

It may have been a bit wetter than expected, but the Mash Mechanix Brewery Car Show was still heated with incredible hot rods, gorgeous classic cars, and some friendly competition! Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this fundraiser benefiting our PPSC Foundation! Every vehicle entry for this event is being donated to the foundation and will be used to provide scholarships for our Automotive Technology Programs!

PPSC’s Office of Workforce Development has been selected by Apprenticeship Colorado as both a Colorado Qualified Industry Intermediary and Qualified Talent Intermediary!

This recognition sets us up to provide customized support to employers, apprenticeship sponsors, career seekers, and apprentices throughout the state. We will also work to broaden equitable access to apprenticeship opportunities, particularly for populations that have historically been underrepresented in apprenticeship programs.

This designation reflects our continued commitment to strengthening Colorado’s workforce and creating opportunities for both employers and career seekers.

Community partnerships help create opportunities for PPSC students.

On Saturday, Aug. 15, cars and community come together at Mash Mechanix Brewing Co for a car show benefiting scholarships for students in PPSC’s Automotive Technology program.

Proceeds from vehicle entry fees will be donated to the Pikes Peak State College Foundation, helping students overcome financial barriers as they prepare for careers in the automotive industry.

Come check out the cars, vote for your favorites, and join a community supporting the next generation of automotive professionals.
