We're very proud of these middle schoolers who recently graduated from the D.A.R.E. program thanks to our incredible SRO, Officer Davis. This program teaches students to avoid dangerous behaviors, stand up for themselves and others, and make smart decisions for a healthy future. We're so proud of our mustangs!

We celebrated our 8th Grade students with a promotion ceremony last week, and we're so excited to welcome these girls into high school next school year!!

A big shout out and congratulations to CGLA's #1 tennis doubles team of Malia Yearby and Naryiah Pitner for advancing to the quarterfinals in the 2026 District 10 Tennis Tournament in Hamilton County!

This is the first time that the CGLA Tennis Team has advanced this far in the tournament in the programs 4 year history. Malia and Naryiah finished with a winning record of nine wins and six losses. Congrats to you both!! 🧡🩵

We'd like to give a big shout out to the people who contributed to CGLA this week for Teachers Appreciation Week! Our teachers and staff were very well taken care of. THANK YOU to Della Taylor, Marckita's Munchies, Big Bad Breakfast - Chattanooga, The Bistro, Unum, Publix, and Walmart!
