What a great day at the 2026 Eastern Iowa Success Fair on Wednesday! We had the chance to talk with so many amazing people about their career goals and how continuing their education can help open the door to what comes next. We even got to connect with some of our current UIU students and alumni who stopped by. We always love seeing familiar Peacock faces out in the community! 🦚

We also want to share a resource that may be helpful to members of our local community following the recent Tyson plant closure in Joslin, IL. Upper Iowa University’s Invest In You Grant provides a $125 per course grant to workers who have been laid off from approved UIU partner employers. There is no expiration date, so eligible students can continue receiving the grant until they complete their education or find new employment.
