Media Implementation

All content published by Bevis PTA or to Bevis PTA's social media platforms must be in accordance with the following intended uses:
• Encouraging membership in PTA
• Distributing advance notices of Bevis PTA events and initiatives
• Soliciting volunteers to assist with Bevis PTA events and initiatives
• Encouraging participation in fundraisers, food/clothing drives, book fair

s, recognition events, and other events and initiatives
• Informing schools, PTA/PTSA’s, communities, business partners, and families about news, events, programs, or legislation that may affect the schools or education
• Recognizing special achievements or accomplishments of Bevis PTA members
• Encouraging support for Bevis PTA, HCCPTA, FLPTA, or PTA legislative initiatives, when appropriate
• Recognizing Bevis PTA partners and supporters, when appropriate
• Other uses as approved by the Bevis PTA Social Media Chair or President

While Bevis PTA does not seek to censor posts or limit freedom of speech on its social media platforms, all content must be in compliance with Bevis PTA’s policy and intended uses. The following uses are prohibited on any Bevis PTA media outlet, including social media platforms:
• Cyberbullying of any kind, including insulting, targeting, embarrassing or excluding any individuals, including but not limited to School Board officials, school administrators, teachers, PTA member, students, parents or other individuals
• Offensive language, including but not limited to ethnic, religious and racial slurs; profanity; sexually explicit language and the like
• Acronyms of offensive expressions, e.g. WTF, POS, DOC, FAH, FB, HUYA, LMAO, I&I, etc.
• Soliciting or advertising any business
• Furthering an issue or product for personal or professional gain
• Conversing about Board business or discussions
• Airing grievances with School Board officials, school administrators, teachers, PTA member, students or other individuals
Determination of prohibited use or objectionable content is at the sole discretion of Bevis PTA. Photos and Videos

Photos and videos may be uploaded periodically to Bevis PTA’s social media platforms. It is the policy of Bevis PTA not to identify any child or individual by name in any photo on any Internet site unless the express permission has been granted from the parent/guardian.

Hello,

The last day of school is this Friday, May 29th. Here are a few reminders to help ensure a safe and smooth dismissal for all:

Dismissal for K-4 is at 11:25am
The last time to sign out students is 9:30am (due to the 5th grade clap out, which starts at 10am)

The 5th grade ceremony starts at 8:15. We will begin letting everyone in at 8am. Don't forget to RSVP and bring your Driver's License!

5th graders should wear their 5th grade t-shirts, and K-4 can wear regular uniform or their spirit shirts.

Confirmation letters for the Bevis Enrichment Camps and Summer School went home today with students. This letter will have information on dates, times, and locations. Please make sure to check your child's backpack! (5th graders will get their letters tomorrow since they are on the field trip today.)

Tonight, our 2025–2026 PTA Board came together to celebrate an incredible year of success! 💙💚

From unforgettable events and record-breaking fundraisers to supporting our teachers, staff, and students every step of the way — this year was truly one to remember. None of it would have been possible without the dedication, teamwork, and heart of this amazing group.
