Ready to build confidence, focus, balance, flexibility, and practical self-defense skills? Join Carroll County Recreation & Parks for American Kempo Karate! This practical martial art is designed for individuals of all skill levels—from beginners to advanced students.

What to wear: Comfortable, athletic-type clothing for the first class. A karate gi (uniform) will be provided afterward for new students.

The spring session is winding down, but you can sign up for summer now! Classes begin June 25th at the Charles Carroll Community Center. You can find us on page 9 of the Summer Guide.

Join us at the Charles Carroll Community Center for the summer session beginning in June. Tuesday classes will run June 30 to Aug. 25 and Thursday classes June 25 to Aug. 27. If you would like to attend twice a week, be sure to register for both days. Check the link for registration information. We are on page 9 under the Charles Carroll heading.

Starting in June, we will be moving our program with the Carroll County Dept. of Recreation and Parks to the Charles Carroll Community Center. We are looking forward to holding classes for kids and adults at this new location. More information will be posted when registration for the summer session opens next month.
