It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our dear Mrs. Athena Larsen.

Mrs. Larsen made a lasting impact on everyone she touched within our school, and for many of us, she is also a dear friend. She was not only a dedicated martial artist, but a loving mother and an extraordinary person, both in and out of the dojang.

She embodied the true spirit of Taekwon-Do, with inner strength, a tirelessly positive outlook, and a selfless, kind heart. One of her dreams was to earn her black belt and teach others, and she achieved both. She shared her knowledge generously, offering deeper insight through her medical expertise and her lived experience.

Even those who did not know her personally will feel her influence through the students she inspired. What she gave to one person will be passed to another, and in that way, she will always remain in our hearts and a part of our school.
