The 420-acre (1.7 km2) Indian Wells Valley Campus (IWV) is located in the upper Mojave Desert near Ridgecrest, California, 160 miles (260 km) northeast of Los Angeles. The IWV Campus is the largest of the Cerro Coso campuses. The College serves the communities of Ridgecrest, China Lake, Inyokern, and Trona. This center provides educational services to military and civilian personnel on the base.

Join us for the Cerro Coso Summer Advancement Program 2026 on Tuesday, August 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This free program is designed to help new students feel confident and prepared for their first semester. You’ll have the opportunity to:

✅ Tour campus and receive your Student ID
✅ Meet with counselors to create your educational plan and discuss CalGETC
✅ Learn about financial aid, FAFSA, and CADAA
✅ Get introduced to Canvas and discover strategies for academic success
