The Humboldt Association of Realtors is holding its 30th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, September 11th at Eureka Municipal Golf Course. Our tournament Beneficiary is the Bridging The Gap Foundation and we are looking for people to register as team and hole sponsors.

Part of our tournament this year is a BIG raffle with some really exciting prize packages that include a Las Vegas and Cabo Getaway, as well as many other local staycation packages and more! Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the link below, calling our office at 707-442-2978, buying from HAR committee members, or going to one of the locations listed on the webpage. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the tournament.

The Middle Class Homeownership and Family Home Construction Act has officially qualifying for the November ballot.

This is a statewide ballot initiative that will increase the supply of new homes and offer fixed-rate secondary mortgages covering up to 17% of the purchase price backed by revenue bonds (meaning, no cost to taxpayers). Coupled with a minimum 3% buyer contribution, the qualified homeowner would enter the market at a 20% equity position, eliminating the need for costly PMI.
