Through artificial intelligence, coding, and entrepreneurship, these young innovators are addressing educational gaps, fostering collaboration among peers, and helping protect senior citizens from online fraudsters.

🧪 Congratulations to AP/Honors Chemistry teacher Natalie Walker!

Ms. Walker was surprised with a $500 gift card from Arizona Public Service - APS through the Supply My Class program, which supports K–12 teachers with classroom supplies.

She plans to use the funds to expand her classroom’s interactive labs and give students even more hands-on opportunities to prepare for their AP exams.

We are grateful to APS for investing in teachers and especially proud of Ms. Walker for the work she does to make chemistry engaging for her students!

Congratulations to all of the eligible BASIS Charter Schools students who participated in the Arizona's Academic Standards Assessment (AASA) and scored in the top 10%.

Nearly one in every two BASIS students earned a Certificate of High Achievement from the Arizona Department of Education. Achieving this distinction demonstrates an extraordinary level of academic excellence and underscores the dedication of BASIS Charter Schools students across Arizona.

Congratulations, Saanvi! 🎉 Saanvi has been selected as a member of the 2026–27 Arizona Governor’s Youth Commission (GYC) through the Arizona Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith and Family.

She will be representing the perspectives of Arizona youth, connecting with community organizations, developing her leadership skills, and contributing to issues that affect young people across the state.
