As we close out Women's History Month, Young Futures wants to specially thank the Super Women helping us build an institution that will impact the next generation with Financial Literacy, Art, Culture, and Love! 💐
Virginia Rawlins, founder of Building Blocks Together development corporation, has been a cornerstone for the Financial Literacy Art program. She has supported Young Futures with content, delivery, and subbing in to run the program when necessary, while running her own item company and being an amazing real estate agent!
Omokhogie Shambley, founder of the Financial Literacy Club of the University at Albany and NABA E-Board memeber, started off volunteering and assisting with class instruction and material. She has since been managing the Young Futures social media accounts, dedicated to helping spread the word!
Hinna Fletcher also started off as a volunteer and always shares how Young Futures has helped her grow, but she has also helped the organization just as deeply. Now acting as the Operations Assistant, she has been essential in helping the organization gain flow, predictability, and pace!
Mary Leak has consistently brought her artistic skills and her teaching background to support the Financial Literacy Art Program, bringing stenciled art work for students to design in various classes. At the end of each program, she still comes to support the future investors in preparing for their art shows!
Fatma Labeb has been a huge support in the organization and direction of grant writing, uplifitng the spirit of Young Futures. She started off as a volunteer and now is currenty taking a grant writing class to confirm support for the organization and the families we serve!
