😃🙌🏽I’m excited to announce that I have been invited to serve as a Featured Speaker for the Winston-Salem Black Chamber of Commerce’s BLISS Training Program. Thank you Chamber President, Lynetta Blakney, Ph.D. for your leadership and the opportunity to serve your members!

As an Education Consultant, Resilience Strategist, Speaker, and Founder of Thrive Well Consulting LLC, I am honored to support entrepreneurs and business leaders in building the resilience, energy, and well-being needed to sustain success without burnout.

My upcoming session, “Thrive, Recharge & Rise™: The Entrepreneur’s Wellness Advantage”, will focus on practical strategies to help leaders strengthen resilience, manage stress, protect their well-being, and create sustainable success in both life and business.

One thing I know for certain:

Leaders are not failing—they are carrying too much.

When we intentionally invest in our wellness, we improve our capacity to lead, serve, innovate, and thrive.

As I continue scheduling my 2026–2027 speaking, training, and professional development calendar, I welcome opportunities to partner with organizations, schools, businesses, associations, faith-based groups, and leadership teams committed to supporting the well-being and resilience of their people.

📩 Message me if you’re seeking a speaker, workshop facilitator, trainer, or consultant to support your organization’s leadership development, resilience, wellness, stress management, burnout prevention, or professional growth initiatives.

Together, we can help leaders live well, lead well, and thrive well.

“Have you ever felt like everyone depends on you… but no one is checking on you?”

I’m looking to connect with 3 - 7 women in leadership roles for brief informational conversations (May 19 - May 22, 2026) as I continue strengthening the work of Thrive Well Consulting LLC.

If you are a woman serving in educational leadership, school/district administration, counseling leadership, higher education, or another people-centered corporate/non-profit leadership role—and you’ve ever felt emotionally exhausted while still expected to “hold everything together”—I would value the opportunity to hear about your experience.

These are not sales calls.
I’m simply seeking honest insight from women leaders who are navigating:
• high responsibility and pressure
• emotional labor and decision fatigue
• stress, overwhelm, or burnout
• challenges with work-life harmony
• the constant expectation to support everyone else while managing their own well-being

My goal is to better understand the real challenges women leaders are facing so I can continue creating meaningful professional development, resilience strategies, wellness resources, and leadership support that truly serves.

The conversations would be:
• 20–30 minutes
• virtual or phone
• confidential and conversational
• focused on your experiences, challenges, and needs as a leader
If this sounds like you and you’d be open to sharing your perspective —or someone you know—I’d love to connect. Please comment “YES” or send me a DM (direct message).

Because leaders are not failing… many are simply carrying too much.

Burnout Is Not Failure — It’s Feedback. Here’s How to Thrive Again | Writers With Purpose 17/04/2026

🌟 Flashback Friday! 🌟

As we reflect on our leadership journeys - both personal and professional, it's important to revisit moments that shaped us and the lessons learned along the way. Today, I want to share an enlightening “Written Word Publishing” podcast. With the host Melvese Johnson, this episode from earlier this year titled "Burnout is Not Failure - It’s Feedback"🎧- as noted in my latest book, “Thrive, Recharge and Rise - A Guide to Support Busy Leaders and Educators Through Burnout” (available on AMAZON😃👍 https://a.co/d/05JE4Gw3)

✨In this episode, I share what to consider to build resilience and how it contributes to our personal growth.

As we continue building a supportive community together, may you live well, lead well, and thrive well!
~Dr. Ja’net😇🙌🏽

🌱 Happy Thankful Thursday! 🌱

Recently my husband and I relaxed at a local park… enjoying a cool breeze. I’m reminded to take a moment to embrace our environment and recognize how it plays a vital role in building resilience in life. Whether in our personal or professional lives, the spaces we inhabit influence our mindset, decisions, and growth.

🌿By surrounding ourselves with positivity, nature, inspiration, and supportive people, we cultivate an environment that fosters resilience. Just as a tree grows stronger in a nurturing space, our leadership abilities can flourish amidst the right surroundings.

🌿Let us remember the words of Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” This powerful reminder emphasizes the importance of support in our leadership journey.

🌿On this , I’m grateful for the people and places that challenge and inspire me😊.

🌿What’s in your environment that you are grateful for?🌿
