On July 18-20, 2025, AVK and five other dojos in Shihan Jerry Poe's region attended the USA IFK Kyokushin Summer Camp, led by USA IFK President Shihan Mike Moncao, Assistant Shihan David Sheets, and Dojo Host Sensei Karl Biedlingmaier. The event was a resounding success for all attending students. On behalf of Shihan Jerry Poe and his region, we extend our gratitude to Shihan Mike Moncao for sharing his expertise. Congratulations to Senpai Gregory Johnson. OSU. The regional dojos in attendance included Shihan Jerry Poe (Lima, OH AVK), Shihan Steve McCreery (South Bend, IN), Sensei Matt Zahand (Akron, OH), Senpai DongYu (Detroit, MI GLK), Senpai Gregory Johnson (North Carolina), and Nadia Abesy (West Virginia).
