2cm. That’s the difference in pelvic diameters that can be made from the subtle pelvic movements. Crazy right? But can be the difference between a vaginal and cesarean birth.
Do you have a really good understanding of how the pelvis moves? If you are one of our 4TFM instructors, the answer is Yes!

In week 1 of Postpartum Recovery, the focus is on reconnection of the mind and the body. Participants will learn how to engage and activate their pelvic floor and deep core muscles to structurally support their diastasis and their pelvic floor while performing gentle pelvic stability exercises.

Each week of postpartum recovery includes educational topics such as scar massage, urinary incontinence, and other common experiences of the postpartum participant.

Know the WHY before you do the WHAT!

Where you place your hands during a DHS is determined by station. Knowing when to counternutate or nutate the pelvis to help open the inlet or the outlet of the pelvis is important. It’s really helpful to FEEL on your own body so that you can better explain to your client the why and how and the what of movement support.

Have you tried this?
