Nurturing Little Seeds Family Resource Center Nurturing the seedlings of our community through those who make an impact on them (parents, caregivers, and community members).

Together we are preparing for them a strong foundation to grow on throughout life. As an early childhood education professional, it is my passion to offer learning experiences that are meaningful to children. Nurturing Little Seeds is an extension of that passion to encourage and support other ECE professionals in providing profound learning experiences for children that last a lifetime.

We’re exploring our next enrichment class.

Literacy at Nurturing Little Seeds Family Resource Center in New London

We’d love your input!

Children would explore a letter each week through:
📖 A fun letter story
✋ Hands-on activity trays and centers
✏️ Letter building and writing practice
👂 Games to explore rhymes, letters, and sounds

We plan to use Learning Without Tears and Heggerty, with activities adapted to children’s learning levels.

🎃 STEM Explorers is growing—now welcoming ages 3–8! 🔍🌱

Bring your curious kids to Pumpkin Scientists, our first hands-on workshop!

Together, we’ll predict, wonder, explore, and discover.

Same theme, different levels of challenge! Activities will be adapted to children’s ages and abilities, with simple exploration for younger learners and added challenges for older scientists.

Learning together brings something special: younger children can learn by watching older children explore and share ideas, while older children build confidence by explaining their thinking and encouraging others. 💚

🌱🔬 STEM Explorers is launching in October!

Join us for our very first STEM Explorers workshop on Monday, October 19 from 6–7 PM at Nurturing Little Seeds Family Resource Center!

Designed for children ages 3–5 and their caregiver, STEM Explorers gives young children the chance to predict, wonder, explore, test ideas, and discover together through playful, hands-on learning.

Our first workshop will be Pumpkin Scientists 🎃 — children will investigate pumpkins using early science and math skills while families learn simple ways to keep the exploring going at home.

✨ $16 per family, per session
📅 October 19 | 6–7 PM
📍 1500 Handschke Drive, New London
🔬 Future workshops will be held every 3rd Monday

Join us for this monthly workshop!

Little Seeds in the Kitchen is a free program offered to all families with children ages 2-6. Enjoy a story, simple cooking lesson and learn about nutrition in a fun and engaging way.

Adults attend with your child, build relationships, and support early exposure to healthy treats.

We will meet every 2nd Friday at Nurturing Little Seeds Family Resource Center 1500 Handschke Drive, New London.
