Soon will be showing what I have been working on to complete for a client. For now I will show you the beautiful Aurifil thread collection by Sarah Fielke. Learning more of what I like and don’t like about hand appliqué. I want to learn more.

Well we had a good week. Full….Sabrina is working on the embroidery machine. She is learning. (She doesn’t have FB) She purchased a pattern. And we were cutting fabric out on Tuesday I think. She did a great job for her first bag. Even showed me a thing. I was skipping a step…..watch for a class coming soon.

Then she said, I want to make it half size. I told her some things are hart to size down…well her and her math/surconfrence of a square😳
Well she did it and only ripped once I think. Mine is the vintage one hers is using Ruby Star fabrics.

Did errands this morning and delivers a quilt and recieved two more💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼.

Now trying to get a zipper pouch put together. Will be a sample for a pattern I will carry. And will have them for sale soon.

First time to use my zippers by the yard. Was afraid I could not get the pulls on. I won that hurdle today🥰🤗

A long awaited custom job was put in today. Let the feathers and pea pods begin enhancing the design of the creator of this quilt. So blessed I get to do what feels good. Quilting on a clients quilt just makes me smile. Thanks for the opportunity to lay down some thread, I’m free motion drawing with thread.🤩

The quilt will have a curvy wave binding. Enhancing the workmanship of the top. Bias binding can be intimidation but a great finish to a beautiful quilt.

Well wanted to share. In amongst all the staying busy today I decided this was my quilt and it needed to be in our bed to enjoy. It was fun. Maybe I will
Do another challenge again soon. Be watching for details…..

This one I lead a muster block of the month. Outcome. Nine persons competed their quilts. Such joy.

I played with my pro stitcher (computer) to quilt most of the quilt. A lot of star and stops. I am very pleased that I decided to use it on our bed😍
