What are you working on?
I have started the cutting apart of shirts for a clients project. Taking the collar buttons off. Dissecting the pieces-shoulder piece, arms, left front, right front and back. The collar is a throwaway for me. The adventures of making a clients momemto. A treasure that can’t be purchased in a box store.

It has been a struggle lately with my long arm. I have finished a few things along with working on some RV cushion recover project for a client. And a few project piecing.

Wonderful working on clients projects. May these be a great delight to the owner. A joy putting them together. Sabrina did the embroidery on the Easter one. I appreciate the orders that I receive.

Soon will be showing what I have been working on to complete for a client. For now I will show you the beautiful Aurifil thread collection by Sarah Fielke. Learning more of what I like and don’t like about hand appliqué. I want to learn more.

Well we had a good week. Full….Sabrina is working on the embroidery machine. She is learning. (She doesn’t have FB) She purchased a pattern. And we were cutting fabric out on Tuesday I think. She did a great job for her first bag. Even showed me a thing. I was skipping a step…..watch for a class coming soon.

Then she said, I want to make it half size. I told her some things are hart to size down…well her and her math/surconfrence of a square😳
Well she did it and only ripped once I think. Mine is the vintage one hers is using Ruby Star fabrics.
