A new chapter begins — Okay, we’ve been sitting on this for a while… our very first LaMancha kids to be born on our farm are officially on the way 😍 The does are glowing, I’m buzzing, and we couldn’t be more excited. Stay tuned — it’s almost time.

Funny how the first step always feels like the heaviest one. We get so caught up imagining everything that mightgo wrong that we forget the magic of what could go right.Watching these horses run reminds me: freedom starts the moment you decide to move anyway.
What’s one thing you’d chase if fear wasn’t part of the equation?
These little ducklings were the reminder I needed today. Farming comes with a never‑ending list of projects, and it’s so easy to keep pushing until you’re completely burned out. The world will take everything if you let it.
Taking time for yourself — a break, a nap, a moment to breathe — isn’t selfish. It’s necessary. I’m not always great at it, but I’m working on it and getting a little better at giving myself what I need.
Kittens, kids and chaos - a behind the scenes look at everyday life on our farm. It's messy, sweet and never boring 🥰
Peanut has officially decided that “personal space” is a myth. This tiny house goat followed me all the way to the shower like she pays rent around here. Life on the farm means zero privacy and 100% adorable interruptions.
Two of my favorite snack monsters: Anna (black goat) and Whisper (black, white, brown goat) are always front of line when treats are handed out. Their personalities are larger than life and always manage to make me smile ❤️🥰
Princess Buttercup meeting her newborn kids is one of those moments that reminds me that life is a journey, not a race. We all move at our own pace, and that’s okay.
Progress is still progress, even when it’s slow or quiet. Watching her take her time with her babies was the sweetest reminder to give myself that same grace. 🤍🐐
Peanut is out here rocking a full milk soul patch like she’s the boss of the barn. Big attitude, bigger appetite, and absolutely no regrets.
Life on the farm: where even the babies have swagger.
Today’s note: never stop being a good person, no matter how badly someone treats you. Their words and actions reflect who they are — not who you are. Standing with this sweet horse was the reminder I needed to stay grounded, stay kind, and stay true to myself.
In a world of naysayers, believe in yourself. You've got this.
