ABA Collective is not your average ABA program. We are a small practice of BCBAs serving Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic Counties’ youngest children with ASD for almost 10 years. Meet our Team: Amanda DeCarlo, B.A.

Amanda is currently a behavior therapist at ABA Collective. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience at Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2017. Amanda spent two years working as a social skills group facilitator where she was introduced to ABA and worked on receiving her certificate of eligibility for teaching in the state of New Jersey. Before starting at ABA Collective, Amanda worked in an ABA preschool as an instructional paraprofessional and as a life skills instructor for teenagers and adults with ASD.

Amanda has over four years of experience working with children and adults with ASD. Amanda’s clinical interests include increasing independence and social skills in home and in the community and providing behavior analytic services to toddlers and children.

Therapy based on ABA includes discrete trial teaching when it is appropriate but it is so much more than discrete trial instruction! Kids learn through play and exploration.
