Someone asked how many plants we start per season 🤣 I have no clue but it's a lot.
We transplant about 90% of all of our crops. This helps with w**d control and pest management for us. We also try to buy used trays and not create more plastic waste. While it's quite a bit of extra work, transplants make everything better for us, the plants, and you once we harvest. This is one of the many tools in our toolkit to avoid using pesticides and chemicals.

Who would be interested in bulk chicken feeders? We are building some this week and can build extras this week. Have 2 ft, 4ft, 8ft long. These help with cutting your feeding time as they hold quite a bit of feed. If you are wanting to raise your own meat chickens these work great. This is the design we use for all of our chickens.

A little birdie told me the farm will some plants available tomorrow. Not a ton yet but some things like cucumbers, squash, zucchini, winter squashed, melons, and some tomatoes. Also lots of meats. 11 a.m to 3 p.m

Who's ready for Cucumbers? We just started planting cucumbers for the season and oh boy I'm excited! I literally go check on them at night and go on many a cucumber walk. It's the best time to check on your plants. We have over 10 varieties that we grow during the season. Diversity is key for us.

Napa cabbage is such an underrated veggie and soo easy to grow. Its something I recommend for everyone to grow. It's a fast grower, can grow with little space, highly nutritious, can be eaten fresh, cooked, and fermented. If you have never grown it I recommend it as an easy fall/ winter crop
