Three of our MAMC Members (, Ally Keene, and ) had the opportunity to attend and present at the 1st ever South American Congress of Adapted Physical Activity at the Bio-Bio University in the city of Chillan, Chile!

Some of our scholars from different universities had the opportunity to collaborate for a Paralympic School Day for physical educators in Charlottesville, VA. Shout out to Marie Leake for organizing this event and conducting quality research to expand professional development opportunities for physical educators!

Scholars from the MAMC group traveled to St. Catherines, Ontario Canada to attend the North American Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (NAFAPA). Many of the scholars and faculty had the opportunity to present their research as well as attend research sessions and workshops.

This summer, our scholars and faculty members were able to travel to Oahu, Hawaii for their annual meeting hosted by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa! Here, our team engaged in cultural activities, research presentations, and educational roundtables. Thank you for all who were able to put this together and to our hosts for their welcoming hospitality!
