Today and every day we still find joy. Joy in being who we are and joy in loving who we love. Now more than ever we need community, connection, and support. If you are local to CT please come out and support the event, have fun with your friends, and bring your kids/nieces/nephews and all those you love. How is it possible that you are turning 18 today??? You made me a mom and have become a trusted beautiful loving and genuine young woman. You make me proud every single moment of every single day.

Watching you grow, finding your true authentic self, and living and loving out loud takes my breath away with pride and awe.

I can’t wait to see what you will create and build in this world. And I’m so damn excited for you to start your journey at Mount Holyoke and watch you build a beautiful life.

The amount of love I have received since everything has changed in my life has been nothing short of amazing.

Asking for help is one of the hardest things for me but the reality is that I need y’all and my girls need me. They need me sane, safe, and healthy.

So thank you thank you thank you for every message, every thought, every call, every Venmo sent and every door dash gift card.

Because of y’all, I know we are going to be okay.

To say that I love her is an understatement. My beautiful daughter makes me incredibly proud and shines her light as brightly as she can.

She’s off to senior prom and I can’t be more in awe of her. She stunning inside and out 💜

Women are taught to be everything for everyone. Strong. Capable. Resilient.

We carry the weight of everyone else’s needs. We show up for others even when we’re running on empty. We push through exhaustion because we think it’s what we’re supposed to do.

But you know what else we should be allowed to be? Supported.

Needing help doesn’t make you weak.
Struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing.
Not having it all figured out doesn’t mean you’re lost.

You are allowed to be held. You are allowed to receive.

And if you don’t have that space, let’s create one for you.
