Free sports physicals will be given by Wayne General Hospital on Saturday, April 11th inside the WCHS Commons.

All current an upcoming Waynesboro Riverview athletes are required to have a physical. Physical forms must be filled out and signed by parents before being examined by physician.

The time slot for Waynesboro Riverview is 11:00 am.

Congratulations are in order for Aevah Blakney, as she was recognized as the 2026 FCA of Southeast Mississippi Middle School Athlete of the Year!

An award given to students who embody Christian principles of character, integrity, excellence, and teamwork on and off the field, these are all qualities that Aevah has exhibited during her time at Waynesboro Riverview.

Aevah was named as the Valedictorian of her 8th grade class, and she has earned numerous awards and honors during her time at Waynesboro Riverview.
Aevah is a member of the Cheer Squad, the Lady Panthers basketball team, Beta Club, Student Council, FBLA, and many more extra-curricular activities.

Congratulations Aevah, continue to set the standard of excellence!

The FCA Champion of Character award, presented at the annual “Good Friday Breakfast of Champions”, honors student-athletes who exemplify Christian values, including integrity, serving, teamwork, and excellence. Due to catastrophic weather conditions impacting travel safety and operational procedures, the Mississippi High School Activities Association has made the decision to cancel the remainder of the
2026 Middle School Basketball Invitational.

The Lady Panthers will finish the season undefeated with a record of 12-0. Congratulations on a great season.

Your Waynesboro Riverview Basketball teams will travel to East Mississippi Community College this Friday for the first round of the MHSAA Middle School Basketball Tournament.

The Lady Panthers will play Noxubee County at 4:00 pm.

The Panthers will play Kemper County at 7:00 pm.
