Re-Falling in Love with Winter
This month we’re getting out! We decided after a year of healing, navigating Post Concussion Syndrome due to a snowboarding accident we are back to the slopes! Taking the brave leap to get back out on skis did not come lightly and has taken a lot of work but the mountains and snow call to us! It has been difficult to maintain a happy fitness routine with a big part of our enjoyment being outdoors and in the snow.
Showing up for ourselves on the pass was invigorating, grounding and just the workout we were looking for!
We recognize just how hard it is to stay active in the winter, as even our beloved walks have become more scarce. Constantly finding ways to enjoy movement is very important and often takes a lot of creativity- especially in the Seattle winter. We encourage clients to go outdoors and enjoy all that winter has to offer with many activities being inexpensive or sometimes free.
