We’re excited to welcome Mike Burris to the Marlin Academy coaching staff.

With more than 20 years of college coaching experience, Coach Burris brings a level of leadership, credibility, and basketball IQ that speaks for itself. He spent 15 seasons as the Head Coach at Olney Central College, where his impact went far beyond wins and losses.

During his career, 68 players signed with NCAA Division I and II programs, and an incredible 97 percent of his JUCO student-athletes went on to graduate from a university. Coach Burris provides a rare combination of player development and academic success.

He also brings experience as an assistant at both the Division I and Division II levels, adding even more depth to his perspective and approach.

We’re honored to have him in the gym and excited for what’s ahead for our athletes.

The Spring AAU season starts here.

Our Spring AAU tryouts for boys and girls (2nd-8th) is coming in February. Sessions are organized by age group and gender, with all dates and times listed in the graphics and online during registration.

Tryouts are open to athletes looking to develop strong fundamentals, compete in a structured team environment, and grow through intentional coaching.
