The sectors that experienced the most job growth over the month were professional and business services, private education and health services and government. Meanwhile, information along with trade, transportation and utilities were the only two sectors to shed jobs over the month. In March 2024, Georgia’s unemployment rate (seasonally adjusted) held flat at 3.1 percent, remaining unchanged for the third consecutive month.
