I decided to try Van Halen’s Eruption on the mandolin and it ended up being a really fun project. I had to take off the double of each string so I could bend them and sadly there are no whammy bar dives. 😢 But electrifying my mandolin and playing some rock was a new experience for me 🙃

Baby Yoda thought we should pay tribute to Mr. Eddie Van Halen this morning over coffee so here’s my attempt at his iconic Eruption 🌋

Private lessons, virtual video lessons, and small group classes (4 students per class), are all available. One of the bright spots of current events is that it has led me to pursue playing music with friends in new ways. I’ve played more with Ric lately than our busy lives had allowed for in years! Here is another Bach piece with the amazing Lisa Vivian Larsen and Ric Larsen. By the way, Ric builds the awesome guitars that he plays!
