Hello, Alumni!
Many positive things are happening at RAHS, and we have opportunities for everyone, regardless of their education or career path and their availability. Already this year, volunteers have done everything from 15-minute remote Zoom interviews to single- and multi-day class presentations and projects and committed to action as small as answering an email and as big as a full year of in-person mentoring. Aviation and aerospace are not required topics; we have students interested in every career path imaginable and want to support them all. For example, we're looking for real estate, urban planning, and law enforcement mentors.
We've just launched a new LinkedIn page for the career center. It’s an easy (and district-approved) way to connect current students with mentors and provides a more engaging platform for those interactions than student ID-based email: https://www.linkedin.com/company/rahs-careers. This is also where we will promote opportunities like mentor recruiting, guest speaker spots, networking events, etc.

We are sad to share that Robin (Lee) Ferguson, a long-time friend of RAHS, passed away on November 16, 2024. We remember Robin's love for students and her passion as a flight instructor and mentor.
A small memorial will be held at the Museum of Flight on Sunday, Dec 1, time TBD. If you'd like more information, please get in touch with us here or reach out to any of your RAHS faculty.
