farewell ceremony for the outgoing HS 2nd Year and Class X students was successfully conducted on 13th January 2026. The programmes were organised separately for boys and girls in a disciplined, dignified, and cordial atmosphere. Hafiz Mohammad Abdullah, Imam of Matiabug Jame Masjid, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, seeking divine blessings for the students’ future endeavours. As a gesture of encouragement, all outgoing students were felicitated with an exam writing board and pen.
Students who secured 80% to 84% marks in the last Revisionary Test were specially honoured with an Assamese traditional Gamosa along with an exam writing board and pen. Students who achieved 85% and above were felicitated with an Assamese traditional Gamosa, exam writing board, pen, and the following inspirational books:

In recognition of their constant support and contribution, the parents of the outstanding performers were also felicitated along with their wards.
During the programme, a tribute was paid to the renowned Assamese cultural icon, Zubeen Garg, acknowledging his immense contribution to Assamese music and culture.
The programme concluded with a Dua-e-Mehfil, praying for the students’ protection from all kinds of difficulties and for their success in the forthcoming final examinations.
The farewell ceremony was conducted smoothly and left a lasting impression on students, parents, and staff alike.
