Upcoming Summer QMA Class – Accelerated Program

We are excited to announce an upcoming accelerated QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) class beginning this June. Please review the details below carefully:

Important Information:
Class Duration:
This is an accelerated 4-week program (compared to the usual 7–8 weeks).

Mandatory Orientation:
📅 Date: June 2
🕑 Time: 2:00 PM
💻 Location: Zoom (link attached below)
⚠️ All students are required to attend.

Admission Requirements:
To participate in this program, students must meet the following criteria:

- Active Indiana CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear background check
- Must be 18 years or older
- An approved clinical site

There will be a QMA class beginning March 31, 2025.

Requirements to attend Indiana QMA class;
- Must be a current Indiana CNA in good standing
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have worked 1,000 hours as a CNA in the last 24 months
- No felonies in the last 5 years
- Must have an approved clinical site

Mandatory for this class will held in person and via Zoom (link attached to this post) on March 5, 2025, at 10:00 am. If you attend via Zoom, you must visit kaiserhealthcarecertifications.com to print the admission packet.

If you applied for a grant in May or June of 2024 and have not taken a class, please ask if you were approved and your funds are still available.

We will have a CNA class at Sellersburg Healthcare beginning April 1, 2025, at 9:00.

Mandatory Orientation will be held in person and via Zoom (link attached to this post) on March 4, 2025, at 10:00. If you are attending via Zoom, you must visit kaiserhealthcarecertifications.com to print the admission packet.

If you need assistance paying for tuition, please get in touch with Southern Indiana Works.

If you applied for a grant in May or June of 2024 and have not taken a class, please ask if you were approved and if your funds are still available.

QMA INSULIN ADMINISTRATION COURSE

A QMA Insulin administration course will be on February 20, 2025, from 9:00 to 2:00.

Requirements:
- Must have a current Indiana QMA certification
- Must work in a facility that allows QMA to administer insulin.
- Must complete the clinical portion of the program with an RN.
