Even when I did get time with my family, I wasn't really there. My mind was still on work job. the stress, the bills, the next
I was knackered, worn out, and they never got the best version of me.
All that time I thought I was doing it for them...
but what they really wanted was me.
My time. My attention. My energy.
Now I get to be there picking pumpkins, building sandcastles, watching movies, seeing Santa, making memories — fully present.
