What’s the biggest thing you hope your player learns from football?

A few days ago, I received an email from a parent that reminded me of something every coach, parent, and mentor needs to hear.

She reached out asking how to help her 9 year old daughter deal with the pressure, negativity, and outside noise that can come with youth football. It reminded me that some of the biggest battles young athletes face don’t happen on the pitch. They happen long before the whistle blows.

More than developing great players, I hope we can help raise confident young people who know their worth isn’t defined by goals, wins, the badge they wear, or someone else’s opinion.
