I love tech law, because it opens up a world of possibility and creativity. I love that it can help make the world better.
My favorite piece of technology: I’m going to be basic and say that it’s my phone! I think it’s cool how you can connect in seconds to someone across the world. As someone with family all over, I really rely on it to keep in touch.

6. I think tech law is super interesting because there’s a lot of gray area to explore. Innovation in technology outpaces legal/social changes, so often a tech-related legal issue is new territory for everyone. That’s fascinating.

Today’s comes from Katherine Johnson, who passed away today at age 101. Ms. Johnson’s calculations of orbital mechanics as a NASA employee were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S. spaceflights. She was famously depicted in the film “Hidden Figures” and was an icon for women in tech.
