For three unforgettable days, the Southeast Asian Mentorship (SEAM) Program invites you to join us in building community, honoring our roots, and rising together. This year’s schedule is packed with empowering keynotes, identity-rooted workshops, cultural showcases, and deep mentorship spaces: all curated to reflect the diversity, resilience, and brilliance of the Southeast Asian experience.

SEAM’s mission is to promote higher education while addressing the social, cultural, historical, and political issues impacting Southeast Asian communities. Through mentorship and collective storytelling, we empower Southeast Asian students to reclaim their narratives, embrace their identities, and become changemakers for their communities.

Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a longtime SEAM family member, this conference is for you. It’s for those searching for connection, healing, and purpose. It’s for the students navigating spaces and learning to thrive always. It’s for Southeast Asian youth who dream boldly and act bravely.

We are so excited to finally start our program after half a year of preparation! Our very first virtual meeting will be this FRIDAY 5/9/25 from 6PM - 7:30PM on Zoom! We have many workshops and activities planned so please look forward to it!

Want a mentor to provide guidance in post-secondary life? Want a safe space to cultivate your identity and explore the Southeast Asian cultures? Want to visit UC Berkeley on an all-expense paid trip? APPLY to be a mentee for the...SOUTHEAST ASIAN MENTORSHIP PROGRAM at UC Berkeley.‼️

SEAM will function both online and in-person. During spring 2025, SEAM will be hosted online via Zoom during the span of 4 weeks bases where both mentors and mentees will attend virtual workshops. As we transition to the summer, SEAM plans to invite our members to gather together at UC Berkeley, where mentor and mentees will be able to physically meet each other and explore Southeast Asian identities in a 3-day-2-night conference. We plan to host this portion of the program at the beginning of June. All expenses (traveling, housing, and meals) will be covered by SEAM.💞💞
