While the Senate Republicans are ruling out any protection for Dreamers to an omnibus government spending bill, the Democrats are pushing back with threat of government shutdown. Meanwhile, innocent lives are being deported, families are being separated, 10 year old girl with cerebral palsy is being arrested by ICE and our community is hurting.
No more politics. No more deals. Immigration reform is about measuring humanity. We must reflect on our value, compassion and love.

Today, in collaboration with MinKwon Center, NYIC, and countless other ally organization, we as AADC and Asian American undocumented young adults stood with our Muslim families across the country in solidarity.
The recently issued (Third version) Travel ban by the Trump administration is a direct threat to our freedom of religion and the Constitution.
When our Muslim Brothers and sisters are under attack by vicious rhetorics and policies, we as AADC and Asian American Immigrants are also under attack! And we will always stand by our communities and fight back!
Special shout out to NYIC, Minkwon Center, Chhaya, Linda Sarsour Mpowerchange.

So inspired by AADC leader, Jason Koh's, story, activism and leadership! His recent article on the plight of Dreamers and their families resonate with what is at the heart of immigrant's fight for their justice and freedom.
Thank you Jason! You are an inspiration ❤️
"The effect of lifting DREAMers as the golden standard for immigrants had the unintended consequence of dividing our community and enabling the Trump administration to set the narrative on immigration....We revolt simply because, for many reasons, we can no longer breathe. The immigrant community, despite its cultural differences, fights because we can no longer tolerate the conditions that are forced upon us."
DREAMers Like Me Played The Good Immigrant Game And Still Lost With DACA’s death, it no longer matters who the "good" immigrants or "bad" immigrants are anymore. We are all now under the threat of deportation.

Asian American Dreamers Rally took place tonight outside the Trump tower. We need the Congress to pass a clean Dream Act that will provide a pathway to citizenship for all our Dreamers without jeopardizing the lives of our parents, families, and rest of the 11 million undocumented communities.
Thank you to all our fellow New Yorkers for your unwavering support and love❤️.
Special shout out to Angie Kim, Tony Choi, Tereza Lee, Carlene Pinto, JoAnn Yoo, Steve Choi, Asian American Federation, New York Immigration Coalition, AALDEF, AAANY, Congresswomen Grace Meng, council member Margaret Chin, comptroller Scott Stringer, Gale Brewer and all amazing ally organizations.

AADC leader Angie Kim shares her story, what it means to be an immigrant and an American, and provokes questions about how policies do not define her humanity.
"These are not just policies. These are policies that have the power to change people's lives. And there is a lot of power in that...We have to really think about how we measure humanity, and implement policies that will do justice. This is about [asking yourself] how would you measure humanity and where you stand."
