Update: 12/2015 ~
*"LAUSD will be responsible for installing the cement base for the plaque we've purchased. (The plaque needs to be placed on the base while the cement is still wet.) LAUSD has informed us, the amount needed for this cement pedestal will be (an unexpected) $1300+! CHS (Principal Guy) has offered to assist with $500 toward this amount-- leaving a balance of $800!" - per Sue APPLING Johnson (our CHS Reunion Committee 1966 rep)

Please (PM me ASAP), if you are able to assist in donating toward this installation! >'66 class response has been great- yes, they did get an earlier message. Let's get it done! TY

What a great day to announce the receipt of our long-awaited plaque to be "installed"* at CHS, from the first graduating classes of 1964, 1965 & 1966!

Regarding the 50th CHS REUNION- 🇺🇸
WE the classes of 1964, 1965 & 1966 are purchasing a memory plaque -wording enclosed- which will be the same size/description as the plaque WE installed honoring JFK, to be placed beneath the flag pole outside the Admin Bldg.
(A picture of the actual plaque will be posted, when available. Maybe we'll receive notice for attending installation!)
