On this day, fourteen years ago, a single release of Wish You Were Here hit the UK singles chart. This was following the 2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony, which included the song - performed by Nick Mason, Ed Sheeran, Mike Rutherford and Richard Jones - accompanied by a tightrope walker at the top of the stadium who shook the hand of a mannequin, setting it alight.
