Tuesday Aug. 25, the Putnam County Arts Alliance and Dora Olson of That Paint and Pottery Place in Blakesburg, Ia are teaming up to present a workshop on crushed glass painting. This is a rare opportunity to learn the techniques of incorporating crushed glass in paintings. They are absolutely georgeous and would make beautiful decor for your home or make great presents.
Each piece is on a wood block with crushed glass on the trees and in the foreground. The background gets painted first, then it is overlaid with the glass and finally coated with an epoxy resin

No experience is necessary. Just bring friends and your energy and be ready for an evening full of fun, conversation and creativity.
