A new mini‑class is joining the Wonder Play Co. lineup, and I’m so excited to share what’s inside.

Each session includes:
📚 a story
👐 a sensory bin that ties into the book
🎨 a small craft,game, or activity we’ll do together

The Whimsy Place is perfect for ALL abilities❤️

We are so LUCKY to have an inclusive safe space for all children to grow, develop, and just be kids.

⚠️ CONTROVERSIAL POST… This might ruffle some feathers.

When I read this in a group I’m in for ASD parents, my heart broke. Broke for the child and the parent—because I have felt this.

Last year, I drove an hour to a play space. That experience became the number one reason Whimsy was born. I’ve never shared that publicly before.

My sweet Amelia stims. At the time she was completely non-verbal. She squealed with delight, made lots of loud noises, and wore SMOs on her ankles. I knew she was different—in every perfect way.

The children were downright mean to her.

There wasn’t staff on the play floor, and the woman running the desk never even said goodbye as I carried my very hurt baby out the door less than 20 minutes after we arrived. I cried the entire hour home.

Then I brushed myself off and decided we needed a place for kids. ALL kids.

And that is something I will never compromise on.

We will NEVER tolerate anyone being mean to a child. Period. Staff, guests, vendors—it doesn’t matter.

Your baby and YOU are welcome here.

This is also why our Play Creators exist. I intentionally overstaff our play floor because while we can’t promise another child will become your child’s friend, our Play Creators WILL. Every child who walks through our doors has a built-in friend ready to play.

It’s why I am incredibly conscious about who we hire.

Your baby is safe here.

WHIMSY is for kids. It’s a place where kids get to be kids and where we do our best to meet them where they are.

Yes, we are parent-led play—but parents, we see you too. We know sometimes you need a moment. That’s okay.

It’s the same reason I’m constantly begging you not to pick up. 😂 We know you’re used to doing it, and we love you for wanting to help, but while you’re here, let us take care of some of that.

Come play with your babies. Sit down for a minute. Drink your coffee and take a breath.

We’ve got the rest.

Because childhood should feel magical—for EVERY child. 🧡

Happy Friday Families!

My birthday is coming up and I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on this past year and I just want to say THANK YOU❤️

Thank you to all the amazing parents out there who have made Wonder Play Co. what it is today.

Thank you to the parents who go the extra mile to sign up for class, take time out of your busy schedules, and set aside finances so your kiddos can participate in fun activities with us.

Thank you for sharing your kiddos with me. I LOVE watching your kiddos grow, have fun, develop, and learn!

Thanks to all the parents who take pictures and capture the fun! I seriously couldn’t do it without you!

Thanks to all the amazing parents who I have met and connected with! Never did I expect to make so many mom friends from play classes. I LOVE it!

Thank you for making our local community stronger. Our kiddos and families are growing up together and I couldn’t be happier to be right along with each and every one of you!
