📸 Mock Interviews in Action at Ed-Co! 📝

This week, Ms. Davis's Employability Skills Class, a college credit course through NICC, took a big step toward preparing for their future careers by participating in mock interviews! Students gained valuable experience and received constructive feedback to help sharpen their interview skills.

This week is National Apprenticeship Week!

Did you know that the Edgewood Locker has a Meat Cutter & Butcher Apprenticeship Program?

This program is perfect for anyone who is wanting to receive an education while also gaining hands-on experience in the meat industry!

Our 1-on-1 on the job training in combination with classroom hours will help you to learn all aspects of the business. Apprentices will be rotated throughout various work processes to ensure a well-rounded professional upon completion of the Apprenticeship Program. During the apprenticeship, you will receive competitive wages with a goal of advancement.

"I liked that it gave me an opportunity to work with the entire process here at the locker. From unloading a live animal into our holding pens to packaging product in the RTE (ready-to-eat) room, I got to see the whole scope of things and work with all the people that are experts in their field."

Today we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of bright students from Ed-Co for a shadow experience! They got a firsthand look at the world of cabinet design, from brainstorming ideas to seeing our craftsmanship in action.

We love inspiring the next generation of designers and craftsmen! A big thank you to Lily and Lauren for their enthusiasm and curiosity. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did!🙌
