On behalf of the Eastern Regional Board and every Brother throughout the Mighty Eastern Region of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Hon. Bro. Nigel Coelho, 28th Eastern Regional Director, extends our deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences on the transition of Triumphant Soror Janet Yvette Bivins, Esq.
For more than four decades, Triumphant Soror Bivins faithfully served Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, leaving an extraordinary legacy of leadership that included service as the 25th Basileus of Beta Delta Zeta Chapter, 7th Pennsylvania State Director, 16th Atlantic Regional Director, and 26th Chairman of the National Executive Board, among numerous other distinctions.
Her titles reflect a remarkable record of service. Her greater legacy lives in the Sorors she mentored, the communities she served, the lives she influenced, and the example of leadership she leaves behind.
The bond between Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is one of family. As our Sorors mourn this tremendous loss, the Brothers of the Mighty Eastern Region mourn alongside them.
We lift in prayer Triumphant Soror Bivinsโ family and loved ones, the Sorors of Beta Delta Zeta Chapter, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Atlantic Region, and the entire sisterhood of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
May she rest peacefully and eternally, and may her remarkable legacy of leadership and service continue to inspire generations to come. ๐๐ค
