Broncos Media students create so much great live and recorded content all year to share and document all of the happenings in the Broncos Community.
They are involved in many great experiences and learn many skills along the way.
The satisfaction is in the work, but it doesn’t hurt to be recognized by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association for their news, sports and feature stories in tv and radio. We attended the WBA state Seminar and Awards for Excellence on 2/28 at Lambeau Field. Students who represented the UG Community attended workshop sessions, a College and Career Fair, and the high school and college awards for excellence luncheon.
Your Broncos Media students were awards 12 awards in 8 categories! It’s an honor to mentor, guide, and teach all of these students!

Some of my Broncos Media students and I are currently helping produce a live broadcast of the regional Emmy Awards, called the Silver Circle Awards. What a great experience and they are meeting many local and regional familiar names and faces in TV News and Sports production! Couldn’t be prouder of these young and eager learners. We had a crew call time of 6:30 AM this morning…not to mention we live broadcast a live double header of Girls & Boys Varsity basketball, and the Winter Gala was last night and we got home at midnight.

Definitely a nap in all our schedules today!
