Metro’s Blue, Orange and Silver lines will be disrupted due to track work from Friday, December 20 through Monday, December 30.

Free shuttle buses will replace trains between Foggy Bottom and Federal Triangle from 12/20-12/26, and between Foggy Bottom and Federal Center SW from 12/27-12/30.

Fairfax Connector recently launched the 798 route, providing express bus service between Tysons, Virginia and Bethesda, Maryland.

If you travel to Bethesda for work or fun/If you’re traveling from Bethesda to work, the 798 bus can save you time by avoiding Metrorail transfers.

The route is priced at the express rate, so your trip is $4.80 each way.
